Oleg Savenkov is one of Ukraine’s leading plastic and reconstructive surgeons — a recognized expert in breast surgery and reconstructive microsurgery.
He heads the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Garvis Surgical Clinic, is the founder of the international conference Ukrainian Breast Meeting, and a member of USAPS and ISAPS.

Education and Professional Background
In 2005, Oleg Savenkov graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy, specializing in general medicine.
From 2005 to 2008, he completed his internship in general surgery and began his career at the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Oncology Center, where he worked in the breast surgery department and gained extensive experience treating oncology patients.
In 2008, he completed a specialization in oncology, followed by a specialization in oncologic surgery in 2009 at the Zaporizhzhia Medical University of Postgraduate Education.
In 2012, he joined Garvis Clinic, where he began practicing aesthetic breast surgery.
In 2022, he obtained an official specialization in plastic surgery, formally establishing his professional status in this field.
International Training and Education
From 2014 to 2016, Dr. Savenkov trained at leading medical institutions across Europe, including Milan, Stockholm, Riga, Bucharest, Salo (Villa Bella, Giovanni Botti, Italy), and Düsseldorf.
From 2016 to 2018, he completed a specialized course at the European School of Reconstructive Microsurgery under the supervision of Professor Jaume Masia (Barcelona, Spain).
Leadership and Initiatives
In 2018, he founded the Ukrainian Breast Meeting in Dnipro — the first international conference in Ukraine dedicated to breast surgery, which brought together world-leading experts in the field.
The conference was successfully held again in 2019, confirming its status as the country’s main educational platform in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery.
Since 2018, he has served as the Head of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Garvis Clinic (Dnipro), specializing primarily in breast surgery.
Scientific Activity
In 2021, Dr. Savenkov defended his PhD thesis in surgery titled “Surgical Treatment of Early Breast Cancer Using ICG Technology.”
He is a pioneer of ICG (indocyanine green) technology in Ukraine, contributing to the registration of the contrast agent and certification of infrared imaging systems for its use in breast cancer surgery and lymphatic microsurgery.
Clinical Practice
Dr. Savenkov performs 400–450 breast surgeries annually, more than 80% of which are aesthetic mammoplasties.
He combines reconstructive and aesthetic practice, which positions him as one of Ukraine’s foremost experts in breast and microsurgical reconstruction.
